Regarding account security, there are 2 main security parts: 2FA security and KYC verification.

Part 1: Account Security Guide – 2FA Security

In this section, there will be 2 main parts: SMS authentication and Google Authentication. I will guide you to verify SMS first.

SMS Authentication

Step 1: Log in to your account and then go to the security section.

Step 2: Select the SMS authentication section.

Step 3: Enter your phone number, click send code to email and phone number. Go to email and SMS to get the code and enter it, then click Send to verify.

Congratulations on your successful SMS verification.

Next, I will guide you to confirm Google.

Confirm Google

Step 1: You also log in to your account, in the security section, Google confirmation and then select “On”.

After clicking “On” A form like this will appear. Before clicking “Next” You should download the Authy app to your phone first, the steps to download Authy I have instructed in the previous post, click on this link to re-read and follow the instructions. After the download is complete, Click “Next”.

Step 2: Scan the QR code.

Open the Authy app on your phone and scan the QR code above.

Step 3: Record the backup code so that in case your phone is lost, send this backup code to Binance support, they will help you restore Google Authenticator (In this article, I guide you to use Authy, but to be extra careful remember to take notes). After taking notes, click “Next”.

Step 4: Complete the following form: click send code and go to gmail to get the code to enter, enter the Google code from your Authy app, then click “To send” to complete.

Congratulations on your successful authentication.

Part 2: Account Security Guide – KYC Verification

KYC security has 2 main parts: ID verification and face verification.

Verify identity documents

Step 1: Log in to your account, select the verification section.

Step 2: Go to section “basic information” choose “Accuracy”.

After clicking on “Accuracy” The table below will appear.

Step 3: Select the country/region, click “Begin”.

Step 4: Fill in the form completely, when finished, press “Submit & Continue”.

Step 5: Click “Start” to continue.

Step 6: Choose nationality and KYC form (Here I choose KYC by ID card, you can choose 1 of 3 depending on you).

Step 7 you should carry a sheet of paper with the date of KYC with the word “Binance” then it will be easier to succeed, because there are many cases where KYC still fails to accept the floor error and has to be redone many times, wasting your time). When you’re done, click “Upload files”.

Step 8: Upload the front of your ID card then select “Confirm”.

Step 9: Upload the back of your ID card and select “Confirm”.

Please wait for Binance to check the quality of your photos.

The ID part has been verified, now wait for approval, in about 1-3 days, Binance will send an email to your email address, remember to check your email.

Done with ID verification, now come face verification!

Face Verification

Step 1: Personal information section, select Face verification to start verification.

Grasp the broker’s requirements, then start the verification.

Step 2: Follow the request (You may be forced to shake your head, nod, etc.

Verification done, in waiting state. So please remember to pay attention to the email Binance will send you an email.
